Raw Worx put together a comprehensive successful bid for the Inspection, Testing Design and Remedial Repairs at the Hollywell Road Bridge in Biggera Waters for City of Gold Coast. The ageing asset will undergo Crack Repairs, Concrete Repair and GFRP Pile Encasement to entend its life. We look forward to delivery another industry leading infrastructure remediation for the Council.
SNAPSHOT: The end of 2016 saw a surge in Bridge Expansion Joint Replacement for the team. Pictured is the Lands End Bridge with the freshly installed Polymer Nosed Expansion Joint System on both the Abutment and Pier joints. Raw Worx continues to expand into this market and the New Year sees us tackle even more projects of this nature.
PRACTICAL COMPLETION: We a proud to announce our Lands End Bridge Remediation Project reached Practical Completion last month. A successful outcome with the Client pleased not only with the physical works but the post completion submissions by Raw Worx. We are proud to announce we have been awarded the Remedial Repairs to Lands End Bridge by City of Gold Coast. Works will include remediation of pier piles including GFRP jacket installation, remediation of steel walkway steel including blasting and epoxy coating insitu, removal and installation of new timber walkway timber, replacement of rock armour, concrete crack repair and protective coatings. We will keep our followers updated along the way!

RAW WORX Tunnel Maintenance teams investigated a serious water leak presenting itself through the asphalt surface and down the tunnel wall. A speedy fix was required to ensure that there was no loss of adhesion of the road surface and to ensure vehicle safety when passing through the toll road tunnel. After locating several leaks, Raw Worx successfully sealed the leaks by acrylic resin injection during a maintenance closure.
